Written at the suggestion of a philosopher Saying, “There ought to be a prayer for dawn.”
/
In morning stillness the singing birds resound
The Dawn of Creation; the first and last and
Only day God, Man, Earth and Sun and birds
Only seem to know and so worth a song.
/
A sound of Life and Creation that cannot
Be wrong in sound as all is hallowed new Born
Ground all going around all other grounds
In a New Universe of sound and light.
/
So to the Dawn of Creation we pray
With the morning Birds of Paradise and Day.
