Just An Hour

The end of Darkness approaches;

The end of the Real Year for poachers,

Those that thrive on the Spring’s green

When my city “The Angels” turn clock screens.

/

Just an Hour Back or Forth

Just an Hour of Infinite Worth

Just an Hour of Daylight Savings

Just an Hour Ends Death Cravings

/

The end of Earth Day to Earth Day poems

Here one day after Valentine’s Day roams

When I sang eight songs, asked to do all,

After twenty years without singing at all.

/

Just an Hour of Forward on Clocks

Just an Hour is Light to Flocks

Just an Hour Just in Time

Just an Hour Sprouts the Flowers

/

The end of Natural Rounds and now Calendar Sounds

Will fill my following year’s schedule frowns;

Or crowns I have no wish to wear yet no wish to tear,

I only care to force the “Have All’s” to share some wear.

/

Just an Hour All Can be Fed

Just an Hour All Filled Until Bed

Just an Hour we draw Last Breaths

Just an Hour Ends two seasons Deaths

/

Just an Hour Back or Forth

Just an Hour of Infinite Worth

Just an Hour of Daylight Savings

Just an hour Ends Death Cravings
